There are 198 public car parking spaces located directly in front of the terminal building and 20 security controlled car parks adjacent to the arrivals end of the terminal at Hervey Bay Airport, Fraser Coast, there is always room available.

Passengers and visitors have a choice of the following parking options:

Security car park
Public car park

Security Car Park

There are 20 security car parks, including disabled spaces, adjacent to the terminal.

The security car park is charged at a flat rate of $15 per day.

Bookings cannot be made for the security car park.

Public Car Park

Located directly in front of the terminal building, the public car park provides quick easy access to the terminal, with plenty of disabled car parking available.

There is no charge for the first 2 hours use of the public car park.

Spaces cannot be booked for the public car park.

Passenger drop off / pick up

Hervey Bay Airport, Fraser Coast, has drop off areas in front of the terminal building. For security reasons, vehicles dropping off passengers at the front of the terminal must be attended AT ALL TIMES. Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed away. Attended vehicles can only remain in the drop off area for a maximum of two minutes.

Please note: Hervey Bay Airport, Fraser Coast, does not have a passenger pick up facility at the front of the terminal building. All passenger collection must be undertaken by parking in the public car park.

Operation of Fraser Coast Airport's new car parking system
	To enter the new car park, please press the button on the ticket dispanser. You will be issued with a parking ticket. The boom gate will be automatically activated giving you acess to the car park.
	When you are ready to leave, you can pay for your parking at either of the two pay stations. Follow the simple prompts on the pay machines. Payment can be made by cash or credit card. After paying you will be issued with a receipt, outlining all relevant information in relation to your transaction.
	Please retain your parking ticket as you will need it to exit the car park. To exit the car park, insert your "paid" parking ticket into the exit machine. Your ticket will be retained and the boom gate will be activated, allowing you to leave the car park.
