Passenger drop off / pick up

Hervey Bay Airport Fraser Coast has drop off areas located in front of the terminal building and adjacent to the departures end of the terminal.  For security reasons, vehicles dropping off passengers in these spaces must be attended AT ALL TIMES. Any vehicle left unattended will be subject to an immediate fine and may be towed away.  Attended vehicles can only remain in the drop off area for a maximum of two (2) minutes.

Please note: Hervey Bay Airport Fraser Coast does not have a passenger pick up facility at the front of the terminal building.  All passenger collection must be undertaken by parking in the public car park.

NEWSFLASH!! DUE TO WORKS CURRENTLY UNDERWAY TO THE ACCESS ROAD IN FRONT OF THE TERMINAL, THE SECURITY CAR PARK WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL MID-SEPTEMBER 2010.

At Hervey Bay Airport Fraser Coast, we have 198 public car parking spaces located directly in front of the terminal building and 20 security controlled car parks adjacent to the arrivals end of the terminal. 

Passengers and visitors have a choice of the following parking options:

  • Security car park
  • Public car park

Security Car Park

There are currently 20 security car parks, including disabled spaces, adjacent to the terminal.

The security car park is charged at a flat rate of $18 per day or part thereof. 

Bookings are unable to be made for the security car park.  The area is access controlled and surveillance monitored, with a full lock-down operating outside of terminal hours.

There are plans to relocate the security carpark and increase its capacity during the latter half of 2010 to provide more options for carpark users.

Public Car Park

Located directly in front of the terminal building, the public car park provides quick easy access to the terminal, with plenty of disabled car parking available.

There is no charge for the first 2 hours use of the public car park.

Spaces cannot be booked for the public car park.
